Risingsun's 1mg per drop Nascent iodine solution is made with ionized elemental iodide and distilled water. When taking and iodine supplement it must be as pure as possible, free from heavy metals, impurities and contaminants.

Iodide, essentially is the only form of iodine found in nature. Iodide is the ionic state of iodine, occurring when iodine forms a salt with another element such as potassium. In this form, iodide can be ingested or applied topically. The potassium iodide used in Risingsun's Nascent Ionic Iodide-Iodine Solution Supplement is extracted from an ancient underground brine mine. Iodide brine mining is the extraction of useful materials (elements, compounds) which are naturally dissolved in brine.

Ingredients: Distilled water and ionic elemental potassium iodide.

Dosage: 2 to 4 drops added to (4-6 oz) drink or as directed by your health care practitioner.

Non-Allergenic Ingredients: Iodine isn't considered to be an allergen (something that triggers an allergic response) since it occurs naturally in the body and is actually necessary for thyroid function. However, some medications, solutions, or concentrations that contain iodine may cause a person to have an allergic reaction. Risingsun iodine solutions contain iodine, potassium iodide and distilled water.

Heavy Metals tested for: The Resource Recovery and Conservation Act (RCRA) lists and monitors a group of eight heavy metals which are commonly referred to as the RCRA 8 : Arsenic (As), Barium (Ba), Beryllium (Be), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Nickel (Ni), Selenium (Se), Silver (Ag). Risingsun has independent labs test and verify the content for the RCRA 8 metals. These eight metals are extremely toxic at even small concentrations. Heavy metals are now being found in USDA certified foods, vitamins, super foods, herbs and dietary supplements at disturbing high levels. Neither the USDA nor the FDA have addressed this seriously growing issue by setting standards as to what limits are acceptable. Risingsun has taken the steps to address this issue by implementing the most stringent heavy metal content levels allowed or acceptable for manufacturing its supplements below 1ppm (Parts Per Million).
